More support for hydrogen export than its domestic application in Australia

Abstract Early research has suggested the societal acceptance of hydrogen to decarbonise our energy supply is relatively high. However, specific aspects that citizens support remain unknown. To investigate public for export and domestic applications hydrogen, this study implemented an Australian nationally representative survey. Using a quasi-experimental design, information was provided respondents as intervention test individual responses. The included short video, followed by images text descriptions. found combined package increased 10% when compared baseline with change in being significantly higher applications. While encouraging development Australia’s industry it also respondents’ general depends on their socio-economic characteristics geographic location.
